Starting a business can be a very lonely and confusing place to be, no matter how skillful or educated you are, Silvia Pencak said. There s always something that surprises you. You might easily end up wasting lots of time and money figuring things out yourself, taking courses thath don t take you anywhere. When I had the opportunity to create a project that would make a difference in the community, this seemed like a natural. I started 2 businesses and a nonprofit organization myself so I completely understand hassles of being a startup. I m thrilled that so many entrepreneurs decided to join me in order to inspire, empower and support other small businesses.

The Small Biz Association is being sponsored by Magnetic Look, Silvia s branding & brand strategy consulting small business. For more information, visit http://www.smallbizassociation.org.
